Organisations basics

Finland Powerlifting Organisation seeks to improve its members possibilities to compete both in Finland and international competitions all over the world. In Finland competitions are arranged varying from 5 to 10 competitions a year. Finnish Championships are held in powerlifting, pench press and deadlift and series are open, juniors and veterans.

Some international level competitions are arranged yearly in powerlifting, pench press and deadlift. FPO arranges these competitions with different organisations who are in co-operating with FPO. Our organisation is a part of international GPC powerlifting company and we co-operate also with WABDL union.

GPC arranges yearly European championships and World championships and also WABDL world championships.
